Mulualem Bitew Anley – Bio
Mulualem is a student in the national Ph.D. program in Cybersecurity (Ph.D.-CySec) at the University of Milan and IMT Lucca, Italy. He currently works at the Security, Privacy, and Data Protection (SPDP) Lab. He graduated his MSc in Information Technology from the University of Gondar in March 2018.
Mulualem’s PhD research focuses on enhancing the security of IoT devices and cloud computing environments, and developing advanced intrusion detection systems. Additionally, he explores the application of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity to protect against emerging threats and safeguard critical infrastructures. Through his work, he aims to contribute significantly to the field of cybersecurity, ensuring the safety and resilience of digital ecosystems.
From 2014 to 2021, Mulualem served as a university lecturer in various academic positions. He has published papers in the proceedings of international conferences, journals, and book chapters.
